Hotel Du Glacier

Unfortunately, I've idea what year this photo was taken. The 2CV was the car of choice, but there again it was when I bought my first car in 1991 (it was a 'prunes and custard' one!), so that doesn't really help pin it down.

The main drag in Argentiere - but can you name the year?

The Savoy Bar is there. But that place seems a bit timeless and will probably look the same in 100 years time. And UCPA have yet to take over the Hotel Du Glacier, filling it with 'youths' who inevitably take all the tables in the pack lunch rooms up on the mountain and then scowl at you when you ask if you can have that chair that they're obviously not using because it's hidden under 3 rucksacks.

The railway station car park looks like it has yet to fill with cars, but that 2CV in front of those gates looks like an early commuter letting the train take the strain.
